Lennol Oy is a successful Finnish textile company, which has founded in 1967. The company is designing and producing home interior textiles and paddings for furniture industry. The product range includes also curtains and curtain accessories, blankets and pillows, waddings and inner cushions. The company philosophy is to be the leading producer of textile based home interior collections in Finland and neighbor countries. The plant and headquarters of the company are located in Jalasjärvi, western part of Finland and is employing 30 people. The products are sold by furniture shops, interior shops, handicraft shops and warehouses in Finland, Sweden, Russia and Baltic countries. Lennol Oy `s base is the competitive Finnish production, which is the result of experience, knowledge and latest technology. One of the basic values of the company has been since the beginning recycling and paying attention to environmental aspects in production. In product development these values are shown as new ecological ECO-paddings. We are allowed to use Finnish Flag mark to show the Finnish production. Lennol Oy was rewarded in 2009 with the INNOFINLAND 2009-prize from the President of Finland. The theme was “From PET bottles to furniture paddings”. Lennol Oy has developed and brought to market ECOSOFT and ECOSEAT- furniture paddings made of recycling materials. At Habitare 2009 exhibition Tunturikukka cushion and throw designed by Seija Ranttila was awarded with the Toimittajien Tusina prize.
