Turo Oy was established in Kuopio 1938 and manufactured originally work clothes, army uniforms and sport clothes. In the early 60´s the company began the industrial manufacturing of men´s suits and in the 80´s desided to concentrate solely on men´s suits, jackets and trousers. In 1988 the name of the company was changed to Oy Turo Tailor Ab. Today Turo Tailor is the biggest manufacturer of men´s suits in the Nordic countries.
