Promise Oy makes high-quality ladies' wear. A family company established in 1991, it is based in Lahti, Finland. Promise Oy has two brands for women: the range that bears its own name, the fashionable and modern Promise; and the generously dimensioned Amis, intended especially for adult women. Both the Promise and Amis selections change twice a year. They comprise good-quality, stylishly functional clothes for everyday and festive wear. Both ranges are the creation of Finnish designers, made to fit the Finnish woman. In Finland, clothes from Promise are sold mainly in speciality shops. The garments are also available to some extent at department stores. The company's most important export countries are Sweden and Russia.
